Help Us Fill the Gap

Summer should be a time of rest and joy—but for many local families, it’s a season of heightened anxiety and hardship.

Accessing free summer lunch programs can be challenging—for working parents and for those without reliable transportation. Parents employed by schools or related sectors face temporary unemployment. And just as more people ask for help with food, donations to St. Vincent de Paul often decline.

Compounding the issue, recent federal funding cuts have strained nonprofits nationwide. Programs that once provided essential support have been reduced or eliminated, leaving organizations like ours to bridge the growing gap with fewer resources.

We need your help this summer to address the surge in requests for help.

Your generous donation can make a significant impact:

  • $25: provides hygiene items to 3 families in our community.
  • $50: Supplies a family with essential groceries for several days.
  • $100: Provides approximately 40 pounds of meat to those we serve.
  • $250: Restocks pantry shelves with staple items like rice, beans, and canned goods.
  • $1,000: Helps maintain our food programs throughout the summer.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us bridge the gap—both for the families we serve and for our pantry shelves.
